Pula is the largest Istrian city, famous for its Roman Amphitheatre, Rovinj, one of the most ‘photogenic’ towns in the Mediterranean and the majestic town Poreč adorned by the UNESCO protected monument Euphrasius Basilica.
The beauty of Istria is not all in its coastal towns. The true pearl lies in its hinterland and small towns such as Motovun- famous for its truffles, Groznjan and Labin.The Kvarner Bay separates the Istrian coast from northern Dalmatia. Worth of visit are the beautiful Kvarner islands Krk, Cres, Losinj, Rab and Pag.
Rijeka is the third-largest city and Croatia’s largest port while Opatija known as the „Old Dame“ is a remarkable seaside resort town with a long history of tourism stretching back to the times of the Austro-Hungarian Empires.
